Carrot juice without sterilization for the winter

Carrot juice contains a lot of beneficial vitamins and minerals. To prepare carrot juice at home, you can use two methods - hot or by sterilization. I propose a simple and quick recipe for carrot juice without sterilization for the winter.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
First of all, wash the carrots thoroughly and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Then pass the peeled carrots through a juicer.
step 2 out of 6
Prepare a strainer or colander, and then line it with several layers of gauze. Gently pour the prepared carrot juice into the prepared container and strain through cheesecloth.
step 3 out of 6
Pour the strained carrot juice into a pre-prepared saucepan with a thick bottom. Add the required amount of granulated sugar and stir well until smooth. Adjust the amount of granulated sugar depending on your own taste preferences and the type of carrot. Put the saucepan with juice over medium heat and bring to a boil.
step 4 out of 6
In the meantime, wash the jars thoroughly with baking soda and a dishwashing sponge. Sterilize clean jars in the microwave or oven. Pour boiling water over the lids or boil in a separate saucepan. Gently pour hot carrot juice into sterile jars and screw tightly with sterile lids.
step 5 out of 6
Turn hot jars of carrot juice upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket or towel. Leave in this position until it cools completely for about a day.
step 6 out of 6
When the cans of carrot juice have cooled completely, move them to a cool, dark place for long-term storage. Serve the carrot juice. The concentration of the juice can be adjusted according to your own taste preferences, and diluted with water if necessary.
Enjoy a healthy drink!
