Carrot juice at home for the winter

Carrot juice is a delicious and nutritious drink that contains many different vitamins and minerals. A healthy drink improves the condition of the skin, hair and nails. I want to share my favorite homemade carrot juice recipe.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First of all, select the large juicy carrots. Use a vegetable brush to remove any residual soil. Then put it in a sink and rinse thoroughly in cold running water. Peel the washed carrots with a vegetable peeler. Cut the peeled carrots into several pieces, then place in a blender bowl and chop.
step 2 out of 5
Then transfer the chopped carrots to a juicer and skip. Wash the jars thoroughly with baking soda. Sterilize jars in a way convenient for you. This can be a microwave, oven, or steam bath.
step 3 out of 5
Transfer the cooked carrot juice to a heavy-bottomed saucepan and add drinking water and the required amount of granulated sugar. Adjust the amount of granulated sugar depending on your own taste preferences and the natural sweetness of the carrots. Place the pot of carrot juice over medium heat and bring to a boil.
step 4 out of 5
After the carrot juice has boiled, reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Gently pour hot carrot juice into sterile jars and roll up with a seamer with sterile lids. Gently turn the hot cans of carrot juice upside down and wrap it in a warm blanket. Leave in this state until it cools completely for about a day.
step 5 out of 5
Then turn the jars over, move them for long-term storage in a cool, dark place. Serve chilled carrot juice. Such carrot juice can be diluted with drinking water if necessary.

Enjoy!
