Summer begins, the time for berries, which means that our homemade cakes can be diversified with tasty and healthy berries. Today we will deal with the preparation of tender manna with the addition of cherries. The dough kneading process takes several minutes, the baking itself takes no more than half an hour. As a result, we will get a moderately sweet, with hints of sourness, which are given by berries, an airy and aromatic dessert that you will love after the first preparation!

Break the eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar and beat with a fork or whisk until small bubbles form.

Put the butter in a small bowl, microwave and melt until liquid. Take it out of the microwave and let it cool down a little. Then add to the beaten eggs.

Then add sour cream and milk to the dough, sift flour and baking powder, add semolina. Mix all the ingredients well so that there are no lumps. Leave the dough for 20-30 minutes to swell the semolina.

We wash the fresh cherries and put them in a colander so that they drain from the water, then remove the seeds. If you are using frozen cherries, you must first defrost them and put them in a colander so that they can drain off excess liquid.
