Cucumbers without vinegar under nylon lids for the winter

I want to share a simple and quick recipe for pickles without vinegar under nylon lids. In the summer, when cucumbers are actively growing, I always use this recipe to save time and process them quickly. I advise you to cook crispy and flavorful cucumbers according to this recipe.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
For cucumbers, select strong, medium to large vegetables. Wash them well, then put them in a deep container and cover with cold water. Leave to soak for about 2-3 hours. Rinse the leaves of black currant, horseradish, cherries, dill umbrellas and nettles well under cold water, then shake off excess moisture.
step 2 out of 7
Wash the jar well with baking soda, and then sterilize in a water bath. Place a few blackcurrant leaves, cherries and horseradish at the bottom of a sterile jar, also add an umbrella of dill and nettle. Fill the jar with cucumbers, alternating with leaves. Peel the garlic, then rinse, lay on top with bay leaves and black peppercorns.
step 3 out of 7
Prepare the brine. Add the required amount of granulated sugar and coarse salt to a saucepan with a thick bottom, pour the required amount of water, and then mix well. Put the saucepan with the contents on the fire and bring to a boil, boil the brine for just a few minutes.
step 4 out of 7
Gently pour boiling brine over a jar of cucumbers.
step 5 out of 7
Pour boiling water over the nylon cover. Close the jar well with a nylon lid, and then shake.
step 6 out of 7
Leave at room temperature to cool completely, and then move the jar of cucumbers to a cool, dark place for storage.
step 7 out of 7
Pickles without vinegar will be ready to eat after 30 days.

Bon Appetit!
