Cucumbers for the winter with lemon

If you don't like vinegar-based cucumbers but want them to be nicely marinated and crispy, try a little lemon. The lemon will add a pleasant sourness and make the cucumber taste very special. Such a delicacy will be an excellent addition to the main course.

We wash the cucumbers and fill them with water. Leave it to brew for 3 hours.

We sterilize the jars, and fill the lids with boiling water for a couple (10-15) minutes. We wash the dill, cut the garlic into slices. We put in each jar an umbrella of dill, a few pieces of garlic and a mug of lemon. Then spread the cucumbers tightly. And pour boiling water over everything.

We cover the cucumbers with lids, but do not roll them up.

We insulate the jars by covering them with a towel.

Now pour the water into the pan and add another 100 ml. boiled water.

Add sugar and salt to the water and cook the marinade.

Add a spoonful of mustard to the cucumbers.

When the marinade starts to boil, add citric acid to it.

Pour the marinade into jars and roll up the lids tightly. Turn it upside down.
