Sweet pickles? Didn't you think that it happens? And how! The whole secret of this delicacy is a sweet marinade, thanks to which the crunchy cucumbers acquire a taste that is not typical for the preservation we are used to.

Thoroughly rinse the cucumbers and soak them cold for a couple of hours. Thanks to this, cucumbers will not lose their crunching ability. If you are dealing with vegetables that have just been plucked from the garden, you can skip this procedure.

Now let's start sterilizing the cans: this can be done either by dipping the cans in boiling water, or by holding them over steam for several minutes. Boil the lids in water.

Peel the carrots and horseradish root and cut into rings.

Let's move on to preparing the marinade. To do this, pour water into a saucepan, add salt and sugar, boil, pour in vinegar and continue to boil for a few more minutes.

Meanwhile, lay out the cucumbers, chopped carrots and horseradish, garlic cloves and spices in the jars.

Fill everything with marinade, cover with a lid on top. We send the cans into a large pot filled with hot water. Our blanks must be sterilized until the cucumbers turn olive green.

It remains to get the cans, tighten them tightly with the lids and turn the workpiece upside down until it cools completely. It is best to store these seams in a cool place.
