Cucumbers in Bulgarian, as in the store, are obtained with a moderate sweet and sour taste. These cucumbers were sold in stores during the Soviet era. And they were in great deficit. If you managed to snatch a jar of Bulgarian cucumbers, then they took care of them for the big holidays.

Peel the onion and cut into rings. Cut the soaked cucumbers on both sides. Rinse the parsley thoroughly and dry.

Place bay leaves, cloves, parsley and black peppercorns on the bottom of sterile jars. Lay the soaked cucumbers tightly to each other. Spread the sliced ​​onion rings on top of the first layer of cucumber. Place the cucumbers tightly on top, filling the entire jar.

Pour the required amount of clean drinking water into a saucepan, add granulated sugar, bay leaves and coarse salt.
