Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We prepare the ingredients: choose young, thin-skinned cucumbers. Before rolling, cucumbers must be soaked in water for 1-2 hours. Then rinse well. We wash the dill and hot peppers. Peel the onion. If the bulbs are large, cut them into several pieces.
step 2 out of 5
We rinse the jars well with soda beforehand. We put an umbrella of dill, onions, bay leaves, half hot pepper, cloves, mustard and peppercorns in the jars. If you don't have a hot pepper pod, you can replace it with 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper.
step 3 out of 5
Then put the cucumbers tightly into the jars, pour salt and sugar into the jar on top.
step 4 out of 5
Fill the cucumbers with boiling water, cover the jars with lids, do not twist! We put the cans in a saucepan, on the bottom of which we put a towel, pour cold water so that it covers the cans up to the hangers and set over medium heat. After boiling, we sterilize the jars for 10-12 minutes. At the end of sterilization, add 1 dessert spoon of vinegar essence to the cucumbers. We take out the cans from the container.
step 5 out of 5
We twist the cans, turn them upside down and leave them to cool completely, then put them in a cool, dark place. It is recommended to chill it a little in the refrigerator before using it and start tasting.
