Cucumbers with aspirin without vinegar for the winter

I highly recommend and with great pleasure I want to share a recipe for cucumbers with aspirin without vinegar for the winter. Fragrant cucumbers are delicious and crispy. These cucumbers can be served as a stand-alone snack or used in salads or soups.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First of all, select even, medium-sized young cucumbers. Wash them thoroughly in cool running water. Place in a deep bowl, cover with cold water and leave for about 3 hours, then pat dry on a kitchen towel.
step 2 out of 5
Cut off the ponytails on both sides. Prepare the greens you need. Rinse horseradish, black currant and cherry leaves, as well as dill umbrellas. Peel the garlic and rinse in cold water. Peel the horseradish root and cut into medium-sized pieces. Prepare the jars. Wash well and then sterilize in the microwave, oven, or water bath.
step 3 out of 5
Pour boiling water over the lids or boil. Place black peppercorns and allspice on the bottom of sterile jars. If you like hot cucumbers, add hot pepper to taste. Then put horseradish leaves, black currants, cherries, and dill umbrellas in each jar. Fill the prepared jars with cucumbers. Add the peeled garlic, previously cut into thin pieces, to each jar.
step 4 out of 5
Prepare the brine. Pour water into a saucepan with a thick bottom, and then add the required amount of citric acid, granulated sugar, salt, and aspirin tablets, after crushing them in a tablespoon. Stir well and then put on fire. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and boil the brine for a couple of minutes. Spread the hot brine gently over the cucumber jars.
step 5 out of 5
Use a seamer to roll up the sterile lids, then turn them upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave in this position to cool completely for about 12 hours. Then turn over in a jar and move to a cool dark place for storage.

Bon Appetit!
