Spices are laid out at the bottom of the jar and cucumbers are tightly laid on top. Everything is poured with boiling water, which is then drained. Next, a marinade is prepared from ketchup, water, sugar, vinegar and salt. It is poured to cucumbers and everything rolls up.

Soak cucumbers in cold water in advance. Then we wash them and cut off the ends. We wash the jars thoroughly and put an umbrella of dill, bay leaves and black peppercorns in them. Next, put the cucumbers tightly and scald them with boiling water, pouring water to the brim.

Cover them with lids and let stand for about 15 minutes. After this time, pour the water into a deep saucepan.

Put the pan on the fire and bring to a boil. Pour boiling water over the cucumbers again. Cover with lids and let stand for 10 minutes. Drain the water into a measuring cup and add the required amount of water.

Cooking the marinade. Add chili ketchup, salt and granulated sugar to the water. Stir and put on high heat. Let it boil for a couple of minutes, turn off the stove and add vinegar to the marinade.

Mix and immediately pour the resulting liquid into jars of cucumbers. We fill them to the brim. We roll up the lids.

We turn the jar upside down and check for leaks. Next, we wrap everything in a towel or blanket and let it stand for 10 to 12 hours. We can put cucumbers in the basement, cellar or store them at room temperature. We take out a snack in winter and serve it to the table with our favorite dishes. Bon Appetit!
