There are many recipes for preparing cucumbers for the winter. I suggest making cucumbers with vodka without sterilization. Cucumbers prepared in this way are crispy, appetizing and with a pleasant aroma. Most often, such cucumbers are used as an independent snack. Such cucumbers are somewhat similar to pickled ones. Therefore, they can be used to prepare pickle.

First of all, wash the jars thoroughly in warm water, and then sterilize them in a water bath. Rinse the cucumbers well under cool water, and then dry. Peel the garlic, rinse, and then cut into slices and place on the bottom of sterile jars.

Rinse celery, horseradish, black currant and cherry leaves well under cold water. Place on the bottom of the prepared jars, then add the required amount of mustard seeds.

Sprinkle with a little salt and then lay out a layer of cucumbers.

Alternating cucumbers with herbs and salt, fill the jar completely. Pour a jar of cucumbers with pre-prepared boiling water and leave for about 10-15 minutes. Then put on the special perforated lid and drain the water into a heavy-bottomed saucepan.

Boil the brine, add the required amount of vinegar and granulated sugar to it. After re-boiling, remove from heat and pour cucumber jars. Then pour in the required amount of vodka, and use a seaming machine to roll up sterile lids, having previously boiled them in a small saucepan.

Gently turn the hot cucumber jars upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave in this position for about 12 hours until it cools completely. Then turn the jars over and move them to a cool, dark place for storage.
