Cucumbers with vodka and citric acid

Pickled cucumbers are a versatile snack that is prepared by almost all housewives for the winter. Pickled cucumbers can be used as an independent snack or for preparing pickles, saltwort, as well as popular salads such as vinaigrette or Olivier salad. I want to suggest cooking cucumbers with vodka and citric acid.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
Prepare all the ingredients you need. Rinse cucumbers and hot peppers well under running water.
step 2 out of 9
Rinse the dill and parsley and shake off excess moisture. Wash the jars well in warm water using baking soda, and then sterilize in a water bath. Peel the garlic, rinse and place on the bottom of the jar.
step 3 out of 9
Put some of the prepared greens on the bottom, as well as hot peppers and onions, previously peeled and cut into rings.
step 4 out of 9
Trim the ends of the cucumbers and then place them tightly in the prepared jars. Then add another piece of greenery.
step 5 out of 9
Then completely fill the jar with cucumbers, and place the remaining herbs on top. Prepare the brine.
step 6 out of 9
Pour the required amount of water into a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Then add the parsley, as well as the leaves of horseradish, black currant and cherry, previously washed under cold water. Add black peppercorns and bay leaves, add the required amount of salt. Stir well and place over medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for a couple of minutes.
step 7 out of 9
Pour cucumber jars with hot brine. Leave the jar of cucumbers at room temperature for 2 days.
step 8 out of 9
Then pour the brine into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Then add citric acid and vodka, and immediately pour cucumber jars. Pour boiling water over the lids or boil in a separate saucepan.
step 9 out of 9
Roll up the cans using a seamer. Gently turn the hot cans upside down and wrap them with something warm, such as a blanket or a towel. After cooling completely, turn the jars over and move them to a cool, dark place.

Bon Appetit!
