For those who do not like the sterilization process when preparing winter preparations, I propose a simple and quick recipe for cucumbers in tomato juice. The winter snack turns out to be quite aromatic with an unsurpassed taste. Cucumbers in tomato juice will decorate your table.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for cooking cucumbers in tomato juice without sterilizing. Rinse horseradish leaves and dill umbrellas well under cool running water and shake off excess moisture. Peel the garlic and rinse under water.

Choose cucumbers of the same small to medium size. Wash them thoroughly in cool running water, then place them on a kitchen towel and pat dry.

Cut off the ends of the prepared cucumbers. Prepare the jars. Wash them thoroughly in warm water using baking soda, and then sterilize in a way convenient for you - in the microwave, in the oven or in a water bath. Boil the lids in a separate container or pour over with boiling water.

Cut the peeled garlic into thin slices and add along with the bay leaf to each jar.

Prepare the marinade. Pour the required amount of tomato juice into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add granulated sugar and salt. Put the saucepan with the marinade on moderate heat. Bring to a boil, pour in the required amount of vinegar, mix well and immediately remove from heat. Gently fill in the prepared cucumber jars.

Screw tightly or roll up sterile lids with a seaming machine. Turn jars of cucumbers upside down, wrap them well with a warm blanket or a terry towel, and leave in this position until they cool completely for about a day.
