Cucumbers in tomato juice with garlic for the winter

How nice it is to share your favorite winter preservation recipes. This wonderful recipe was once shared with me by a friend of mine. Cucumbers in tomato juice with garlic have an incredible taste and smell, which just calls - "Eat me!".

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Prepare all the ingredients you need for a flavorful and delicious snack.
step 2 out of 10
Wash the cucumbers thoroughly in cool running water, pat dry on a kitchen towel, cut the tails on both sides, then cut into thin slices.
step 3 out of 10
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, dry, and then chop until smooth using a meat grinder, food processor, or blender. You can preliminarily remove the skin by placing the tomatoes for a couple of minutes in pre-prepared boiling water, and then putting them in cold water.
step 4 out of 10
Pour the chopped tomatoes into a metal container, put on medium heat, bring to a boil, then boil the tomato mass for several minutes. Then carefully remove from heat and strain through a fine sieve covered with gauze folded in several layers.
step 5 out of 10
Peel the garlic, rinse under cold water, and then pass through a press, grate on a fine grater or chop with a blender.
step 6 out of 10
Prepare the marinade. Pour the resulting tomato juice into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add granulated sugar, chopped garlic, vegetable oil, vinegar essence and coarse salt. Put the saucepan on moderate heat. Bring to a boil.
step 7 out of 10
Add prepared cucumbers and mix well.
step 8 out of 10
Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Wash the jars thoroughly and sterilize the way convenient for you - in the microwave, in the oven or in a water bath. Boil the lids in a saucepan or pour over boiling water.
step 9 out of 10
Fill sterile jars with a fragrant cucumber snack in tomato juice, cover with sterile lids and place in a pre-prepared saucepan, the bottom of which is covered with a kitchen towel, pour warm water over the shoulders of the jars, put on fire, and sterilize for 10 minutes after boiling.
step 10 out of 10
Gently remove the hot cucumber jars in tomato juice and roll up the lids using a seamer. Turn hot cans with snacks upside down, wrap something warm and leave to cool completely for about a day. Then store it in a cool, dark place.

Bon Appetit!
