Wash the jars thoroughly and sterilize. Boil the lids in a separate saucepan. Choose strong, medium-sized cucumbers. Rinse them thoroughly in cool running water, pat dry on a clean kitchen towel, cut off the ends. Cut the prepared cucumbers lengthwise into 4 parts, and then in half more.

Peel the garlic, rinse in cool water, and then cut into medium-sized pieces or pass through a press, combine with tomato sauce and mix thoroughly. Put the chopped cucumbers in a metal bowl, add vegetable oil, granulated sugar, salt, vinegar and tomato sauce with garlic. Mix thoroughly.
