For winter preservation to be tasty, you need to choose high-quality fresh ingredients, as well as carefully process them before cooking. Container sterilization plays an important role. Today I propose to cook cucumbers in tomato sauce according to a funky recipe.

Prepare the marinade. Pour the required amount of drinking water into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add granulated sugar, tomato sauce and salt. Mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. Put the saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, then add vinegar and bring to a boil again.
Gently remove the hot cucumber jars from the pan and cover with boiling marinade. Tighten the lids well, turn it upside down, wrap it in a warm blanket or towel, and leave in this state until it cools completely for about a day. Then transfer the cucumbers in tomato sauce to a dark place for long-term storage.
