Cucumbers in tomato paste wedges

Cucumbers in tomato paste for the winter can be prepared in various ways - whole, chopped, slices or slices. Each hostess chooses her favorite way. I like to cook such an appetizer in slices, but the main condition should be that the cucumbers are strong and small in size, then they will keep their shape well.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Put the required amount of tomato paste into a deep metal container, pour in drinking water, mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. Pour in vegetable oil, add the required amount of granulated sugar and salt, stir and put on medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 7-10 minutes.
step 2 out of 5
Wash strong young cucumbers thoroughly in cool running water, pat dry on a kitchen towel, cut the tails on both sides, then cut into slices. Place in hot marinade and mix thoroughly. Bring to a boil and cook for another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
step 3 out of 5
Wash the jars thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave, oven or water bath. Boil the lids in a saucepan or pour over boiling water. Peel the garlic, rinse under cold water, and then pass through a press, grate on a fine grater or chop with a blender.
step 4 out of 5
Put the chopped garlic 2 minutes before cooking and pour in the vinegar. Stir well and remove from heat. Fill sterile jars with a fragrant cucumber snack in tomato paste, roll up with sterile lids using a seaming machine.
step 5 out of 5
Turn hot cans of snacks upside down, wrap something warm and leave in this position until they cool completely for about a day. Then store it in a cool, dark place.

Bon Appetit!
