Okroshka in Azerbaijani

A distinctive feature of ovduh (this is the name of this dish) from our usual cold soup is a whole bunch of different herbs and a dressing based on yogurt. Of course, you can deviate from the classic version and fill with ayran or kefir, they are easier to purchase in stores. Ovduh will feed the whole family in hot summer, the soup is light and invigorating.

Put the chicken fillet in hot water, add a little salt and cook for 20-25 minutes. Refrigerate chicken. Simultaneously hard boil the eggs for 8 minutes, put them in ice water and peel. Wash the onion, shake off moisture and chop finely.

Wash the washed parsley and cilantro and chop with a knife.

Remove thick stems from dill, rinse and chop as well.

Cut off the ends of the washed cucumber, chop it into small cubes.

Place all ingredients in a deep saucepan. Add peeled and pressed garlic and season with salt. Place the yogurt in a saucepan and cover with cold soda water until the desired consistency. Stir and refrigerate for an hour. You can serve okroshka with pita bread or fresh bread.
