Pancakes can be made from any flour, and not only flour. I recommend a recipe for healthy and low-calorie rye flour pancakes with kefir. If you follow your figure and want to reduce the calorie content of pancakes, take kefir with a low fat content.

Pour a glass of kefir at room temperature into a deep container, break a chicken egg, add granulated sugar and salt. Mix thoroughly with a whisk or tablespoon.

Combine baking soda with peeled rye flour in a separate container. Sift the mixture through a sieve. Gradually, in several steps, add it to the liquid mass, kneading the dough thoroughly so that there are no lumps left. Leave the cooked dough to rest for 15-20 minutes.

Preheat the non-stick skillet well. Spoon the dough out with a tablespoon, rounding the pancakes. Fry over medium heat until golden brown.
