The dough can be kneaded using only curdled milk, soda, sugar and flour. Such pancakes will rise well when frying due to the reaction of soda with a fermented milk product. A traditional ruddy crust forms on the surface. The crumb will turn out to be spongy and slightly stretching. Hot pancakes are good with sour cream, jam, condensed milk. Cold, they harden a little and are no longer so appetizing.

Sift flour into another container along with baking soda. Pour the liquid mixture into the flour in a thin stream, at the same time stirring in a circle and thus kneading the dough. The consistency should ultimately be completely homogeneous and resemble thick sour cream. The dough falls off the spoon in a very soft lump. You can add a little more flour if necessary. After mixing, let the mass stand on the table for five to ten minutes before frying.
