If sour cream has stagnated in the refrigerator, we recommend making pancakes from it. It is noteworthy that sour cream will fit even if it is not the first freshness and has become too sour. You don't even need eggs for the test. The pancakes turn out to be very tender, in a damp crumb, which literally melts in the mouth. They are somewhat reminiscent of pancakes, since they remain flat during frying and grow in height quite a bit. When frying, we recommend using a non-stick frying pan and using a minimum of vegetable oil.

Put sour cream in a bowl, pour in kefir. We mix. Pour in salt and granulated sugar, mix. Sift flour over the liquid mixture, add baking powder and soda to it, mix thoroughly until a smooth, homogeneous dough is obtained. The consistency should turn out, like sour cream itself - soft, pouring.

Heat the non-stick frying pan well on the bottom of the stove - it should be hot. Using a silicone brush, generously grease the bottom of the pan with odorless vegetable oil.

We collect the dough with a tablespoon and put it in the pan in the form of rounded pancakes. When frying, they will not increase much in size, so you can stack them fairly close. The main thing is not to stick together immediately when laying out. Maintain the temperature of the slab medium-low. Fry for a couple of minutes, until the crust is browned at the bottom, and on the surface the dough is no longer moist.

Remove the finished pancakes from the pan with a spatula and place them on a serving plate. Fry the rest of the dough in the same way, if necessary, additionally greasing the bottom of the pan with vegetable oil. Serve hot or warm pancakes with sour cream, jam, honey.
