Fritters with whey from cottage cheese

It is with great pleasure that I want to share an unusually tasty and easy-to-prepare recipe for whey pancakes from cottage cheese, which can be prepared for breakfast any day. The pancakes are extremely delicate and airy. Cook and delight yourself and your family with delicious and aromatic pastries.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Remove the cottage cheese whey from the refrigerator and heat it slightly over low heat or in the microwave. Pour the warmed whey into a deep bowl. Add the required amount of baking soda and mix thoroughly until a characteristic foaming reaction occurs.
step 2 out of 7
Then break a chicken egg at room temperature, add the required amount of granulated sugar and salt. Stir well with a mixer or whisk until smooth and uniform. Adjust the amount of granulated sugar yourself.
step 3 out of 7
Gradually, in several steps, introduce the wheat flour previously sifted through a fine sieve.
step 4 out of 7
Stir the dough thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed and the lumps disappear completely, using a mixer or a whisk. Cover the container with the dough with a dry kitchen towel or tighten with cling film and leave at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes to rest.
step 5 out of 7
Heat a deep skillet with a thick bottom over medium heat. Then pour in a small amount of vegetable oil. Set the fire to low. Using a ladle or tablespoon, place the dough at a distance from each other.
step 6 out of 7
As soon as the edges of the pancakes change color and the dough thickens slightly on top, use two forks or a spatula to turn the pancakes over to the other side and fry until golden brown.
step 7 out of 7
Place the hot pancakes on a serving plate. Serve cooked pancakes with cottage cheese whey with your favorite hot drinks. Air pancakes can be flavored with jam, confiture, jam, syrup, jam, condensed milk or sour cream as you wish.

Enjoy!
