Pancakes with dry yeast in milk

Making pancakes with yeast takes longer than conventional pancakes. Due to the yeast, these pancakes are lush and tasty, for which children are very fond of them. For such pancakes, you can serve jam, and sour cream, and coffee, and juices.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Heat the milk a little. Pour 1/3 cup of warm milk into a bowl for kneading dough, add the required amount of dry yeast to it, stir everything and leave for 5 minutes for the yeast to start working. After 5 minutes, pour half of the rest of the milk into this mixture, add sugar, 3 tablespoons of flour and whisk everything until smooth. Place the prepared dough in a warm place for 10 minutes to rise.
step 2 out of 4
When the dough rises, stir it again with a whisk, add the remaining milk, beat in an egg and salt. Pour flour in portions into the dough and knead a homogeneous and lump-free dough with a whisk. It should be thick, otherwise the pancakes will settle out during baking. Cover the dishes with a napkin and place them in a warm place for 40 minutes. During this time, the dough will rise to the edges of the crockery.
step 3 out of 4
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil. Spoon the dough into a preheated skillet and fry the pancakes over low heat until golden brown on both sides.
step 4 out of 4
Transfer the baked hot pancakes to a plate and you can serve these fluffy and ruddy pastries to the table.

Bon Appetit!
