For lovers of spicy snacks, I want to offer a wonderful recipe for spicy cucumbers with chili ketchup. The appetizer is obtained with the perfect combination of flavors and excellent aroma. Perfect with meat and fish dishes, as well as any side dishes.

Wash cucumbers well in cool running water. Put in a deep container, cover with cold water and leave to soak for about 2-3 hours. In the meantime, prepare the jars. Wash them thoroughly in warm water and detergent and then sterilize in the microwave, oven, or water bath. Boil the lids in a saucepan or pour over boiling water.
Prepare the marinade. Pour the required amount of drinking water into a metal dish with a thick bottom, add ketchup, granulated sugar and salt. Mix thoroughly. Put the container with the contents on moderate heat and bring to a boil. Boil for 5-10 minutes, then remove from heat, pour in vinegar and stir well.
Pour cucumber jars with the prepared marinade. Gently place the hot jars in a saucepan with a thick bottom, cover the bottom of which with a kitchen towel, pour warm water over the hangers of the jars and cover with lids. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and sterilize cans for 15 minutes.
Carefully remove the hot cans of flavorful snack and roll up with a seamer. Turn hot jars upside down, wrap them in a blanket, and leave in this position until they cool completely for 12 hours. Then move the cooled jars of spicy cucumbers with chili ketchup for long-term storage in a cool, dark place.
