We suggest you diversify the recipe for making pork chops. Today we will bake them in the oven, and add prunes to the usual recipe. It turns out a delicious, juicy dish with sweet prunes and baked cheese, which will successfully complement the festive table and will be enjoyed even by a gourmet.

Put the prunes in a deep plate and pour boiling water over it. Leave to steam for 3-5 minutes. Then we drain the water and rinse the prunes under running water.

Peel the onion, rinse and chop it in half rings. Add vegetable oil to a preheated pan, put the onion and fry it until golden brown

We wash the pork well under water, pat it with a paper towel to dry it. Cut the meat into medallions 1 cm thick. Put the chops on a cutting board, cover the meat with cling film or a clean plastic bag and beat it off, then turn it over and beat it off from the back. Salt and pepper the chops and add spices.

Put the chops in a greased form with vegetable oil. We grease each one with a thin layer of a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard. Put onion and prunes on top of the chops, cover the form with foil. We put the chops in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, we take out the form from the oven, remove the foil. Sprinkle our chops with grated cheese and put them in the oven for another 5-7 minutes to brown the cheese a little.
