Oven pork chops with mayonnaise

Pork chops baked in the oven with mayonnaise are a classic. Cheese topping is automatically meant as a must-have for these types of chops. This tandem always gives an excellent result: the meat is juicy, tender and very rich under a fragrant golden brown crust.

Cut the pork into portioned chops across the fibers. We put the meat on a cutting board and cover with cling film. We beat off with a kitchen hammer on both sides. We grease each chop with ketchup and send it to the refrigerator for pickling for several hours.

We take out the pickled chops from the refrigerator. Grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil or cover with oiled parchment. We put the chops on a baking sheet, level them so that the meat is baked in a beautiful, regular shape. Grease the chops generously with mayonnaise. Grate the cheese with large holes and sprinkle the chops with it.

Grease the surface of the cheese with mayonnaise again. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Place a baking sheet with chops in the hot oven on a medium level and bake for half an hour. During this time, the meat will be baked, and the cheese-mayonnaise crust will brown well.
