Remove the butter from the refrigerator at least half an hour before cooking to soften it. Cut it into smaller pieces, add the icing sugar and add only the yolks from the eggs.
Pin the bottom of the sand base with a fork, cover it with a sheet of parchment and pour in the load. This can be rice, lentils, peas, or beans. It will no longer be possible to cook them in the future, but you can save them and reuse them when preparing other bases from shortcrust pastry.
