Vegetable stew in a Redmond slow cooker

Today I want to cook a stew in a Redmond slow cooker, and for one thing and share a simple recipe with you. I often use a multicooker, for me it is an ideal helper. The advantage of multicooker cooking is that you don't have to constantly monitor the cooking process.

First of all, peel the onions, rinse under running water and cut into small cubes. Pour the required amount of vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, put finely chopped onions and cook on the "Fry" mode for 5 minutes, stirring constantly with a spatula.

Wash the carrots thoroughly and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Cut the peeled carrots into medium-sized cubes. Add the prepared carrots to the fried onions and cook for another 5 minutes, not forgetting to stir.

Wash the bell peppers, peel them of seeds and core, and then cut into strips. Place it with sautéed vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes.

Wash the zucchini, pat dry and peel with a vegetable peeler. Cut the prepared zucchini into medium-sized cubes and add to the multicooker bowl. Cook for about 10 minutes.

Cut the cabbage into thin strips, rinse and dry if necessary, and add to the rest of the vegetables.

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and pat dry. Then cut into a medium cube, after removing the stalk, and place on top of the rest of the ingredients. Mix gently.

Close the lid of the appliance, set the "Baking" mode on the multicooker panel, cooking time 55 minutes. And then press the "Start" button.

After the sound signal, open the lid of the multicooker, turn off the device, add black pepper, granulated sugar and table salt to taste, mix well. Serve the finished vegetable stew in portions, garnishing with fresh herbs, pre-washed and finely chopped, if desired.
