Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 13
We heat the milk to a warm state, pour it into a deep container. Add yeast and one tablespoon of granulated sugar to it. We mix everything.
step 2 out of 13
Next, sift wheat flour (300 g) into the yeast mixture. Mix the ingredients. We put the dough in a warm place for 60 minutes.
step 3 out of 13
Rinse the raisins thoroughly under running water. Pour boiling water over it and leave for 10 minutes. We do the same with candied fruits.
step 4 out of 13
Pour the walnuts into the blender bowl and grind them.
step 5 out of 13
Drive chicken eggs into a bowl, add vanillin, a pinch of salt and the remaining granulated sugar. Beat the egg-sugar mixture with a mixer for 5 minutes. During this time, the mixture will turn white.
step 6 out of 13
After that, transfer the egg-sugar mixture to the dough. We also put softened butter here. We mix everything.
step 7 out of 13
Set aside a couple tablespoons of dried fruit flour. Next, you should gradually add the remaining wheat flour to the rest of the ingredients. For convenience, knead the dough with a mixer, then leave in a warm place for 60 minutes.
step 8 out of 13
We put the raisins and candied fruits in a colander, thereby allowing the liquid to drain. After that, pour candied fruits and raisins on a paper towel to dry them as much as possible.
step 9 out of 13
Sprinkle the dried fruits with the remaining wheat flour. In this form, it will be easier to introduce them into the dough.
step 10 out of 13
Then we put chopped walnuts, candied fruits, raisins and lemon zest into the dough. Knead it, evenly distributing the filling. We put the dough in a warm place for 60 minutes.
step 11 out of 13
Lubricate your hands abundantly with vegetable oil, then knead the dough. After that, we lay out the dough into forms, filling them by about a third. Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 40 minutes. At this stage, you need to turn on the oven to warm up, setting the temperature to 180 degrees.
step 12 out of 13
We send the cakes to bake in a preheated oven for 40-50 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick.
step 13 out of 13
Ready-made cakes must be decorated with icing and pastry sprinkles.

Enjoy your tea!
