Easter cake for 1 glass of milk

Easter cake is exactly that traditional pastry, without which not a single festive table can do! The simplest, fastest and incredibly delicious Easter cake, according to the recipe of our grandmothers and mothers. Cooking will not take long, but the taste buds will remember this yummy for a long time!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 13
Raisins must be soaked in boiling water and left to "rest" for about 5-7 minutes (some housewives soak raisins in cognac overnight to add a pleasant aroma). After this time, it is necessary to thoroughly rinse under running cold running water and dry. Then, sprinkle the dried raisins with one tablespoon of flour and mix, so that our raisins are evenly distributed in the dough.
step 2 out of 13
Separate the yolks from the whites. Grind the resulting yolks with sugar.
step 3 out of 13
Gently add melted butter to the grated yolks with sugar. It is important that the oil is not hot.
step 4 out of 13
Add milk warmed up to about 60 degrees to the resulting mixture. We mix.
step 5 out of 13
We sift flour through a sieve in order to enrich it with oxygen, subsequently, our cake will acquire an airy structure.
step 6 out of 13
Add vanillin (to taste) and yeast to the resulting mixture. We mix everything.
step 7 out of 13
Slowly add the liquid mixture to the flour mixed with yeast and vanilla. Knead thoroughly.
step 8 out of 13
Add raisins to the dough and knead again until smooth.
step 9 out of 13
Beat the separated whites from the yolks until peaks (meringue consistency).
step 10 out of 13
With the help of a spoon, slowly, we begin to introduce the whipped proteins into the dough. The dough should turn out to be viscous and sticky to your hands; you no longer need to add flour.
step 11 out of 13
We lay out the finished dough in forms, but, before reaching half, by about 2/5, since during the cooking process, the dough will grow several times. In the middle of the dough, make a small depression and put a small cube of butter. And we put "rest" in a warm place. When the dough rises, we send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees, for about 40 minutes (depending on the size of the molds and the oven itself).
step 12 out of 13
After our cakes are baked, we let them cool down a little, and at this time we prepare the icing. Grind the protein with powdered sugar and add lemon juice to the resulting mixture, stirring continuously. Cover the warm cakes with the resulting glaze and decorate as you want.
step 13 out of 13
We cool the cakes completely and serve them to the festive table. Happy Easter! Bon Appetit!
