The dough for Easter cakes can be made on the basis of kefir and save yourself from the process of kneading with your hands, entrusting all the hard work to a bread maker. And the original filling, which includes dried cherries, candied pineapple fruits, dates and strawberries, will add zest to the cake's taste.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Prepare the filling. To do this, rinse the raisins and soak them in hot water. While the raisins are swelling, finely chop the dried strawberries, dates and candied pineapple fruit. Throw the swollen raisins in a colander, and then dry them with paper towels.
step 2 out of 5
Sift wheat flour into a deep container and add prepared dried fruits to it. If you do not have any components of the filling, then you can safely replace them with others (at your request).
step 3 out of 5
Place the ingredients in the bowl of the bread maker in a specific order. Please note that all of them must be at room temperature, and therefore they must be removed from the refrigerator in advance. Pour in kefir first, then break the eggs, add butter, sugar and a pinch of salt. Then add flour with dried fruits and candied fruits. In the flour, make a small hole in which add dry fast-acting yeast. Place the bowl with the ingredients in the bread maker. Depending on the model, select the mode "Sweet bread" or "French pastries", "Medium crust", weight 900 grams. Close the lid, press "Start" and wait for the beep.
step 4 out of 5
After the time required for baking the cake has expired, turn off the bread maker, remove the bowl from it and leave to cool with the cake. After it has cooled completely, remove it from the bowl and decorate with icing and pastry decor.
step 5 out of 5
Let the frosting set and you can serve it to the festive Sunday table.
Bon Appetit!
