Easter cake with raisins, dried apricots and candied fruits

Who can resist the taste of a fragrant Easter cake after a church service on a great holiday? The recipe below is suitable for housewives who have a slow cooker. Kulich cooks faster in a slow cooker, but it turns out to be as fragrant and fluffy as when cooking in the oven.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
It is necessary to warm up the milk, add yeast and 2 tablespoons of sugar to it. We leave this mixture in a warm place for about 20 minutes. The time the mixture is ready is the appearance of bubbles.
step 2 out of 7
Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Then the whites must be beaten with sugar until a fluffy foam is obtained. Add this mixture to the dough, where you also need to add 1 tbsp. flour. Everything is thoroughly mixed and left for 20 minutes.
step 3 out of 7
Pour the remaining sugar to the egg yolks, and add softened butter. Beat the resulting mixture with a fork or blender to get a homogeneous mass.
step 4 out of 7
After waiting a little, add butter with yolks and unused flour to the dough. Then the mass is kneaded until it stops sticking to your hands. Put candied fruits, raisins and dried apricots there to taste. For kneading, you can use a kneader.
step 5 out of 7
Lubricate the multicooker with oil and turn it on in heating mode. Add the prepared mass there. Next, you need to wait until the dough has increased in volume by 2-3 times.
step 6 out of 7
We turn on the "baking" mode on the multicooker for 1.5 hours. A sound signal means that the cooking time has expired, so after it we take out the Easter cake from the bowl.
step 7 out of 7
In order for the cake to be ruddy and look appetizing, we will prepare the icing. Beat egg white and icing sugar until thick. We anoint the top of the cake with the resulting icing and add confectionery powder, which can be purchased at almost any store or market.
Our Easter cake is ready. Simple, tasty and healthy!
