Easter cake in the Redmond slow cooker

We bring to your attention a recipe for baking a festive cake in the most common model of a multicooker - "RedMond" and with a standard set of programs. A cake in a slow cooker is prepared in the same way as a regular one, it will bake well and will not burn, only its taste will turn out to be somewhat different. Prepare the cake dough in a safe way.

Remove the products for baking Easter cake from the refrigerator in advance, it is important that they are not cold. Break eggs into a bowl for kneading dough, add sugar to them and beat until fluffy with a mixer. Then add to them the required amount of sour cream, softened (not melted) butter and mix everything.

Pour warmed, but not hot, milk into the resulting mass. Stir immediately with a spoon.

Pour dry yeast and the amount of flour sieved on a sieve into the resulting liquid base. Knead a tight and elastic dough with your hands. If necessary, you can add more flour. Knead the dough until it falls well from the palm of your hand. Cover the dishes with the dough with a piece of cling film and leave for 1 hour in a warm place to fit well. If the apartment is cool, you can put the dough in a multicooker by turning on the "Warm up" program for 1 hour.

After this time, transfer the dough that has come up onto the work surface of the table, sprinkled with flour, crumple it and add the pre-soaked raisins and chopped nuts. Sprinkle these additives with flour and mix with the dough to distribute them evenly.

Divide the prepared dough into two parts to bake two Easter cakes. Spread the bowl of the appliance with vegetable oil. Place one piece of dough in the bowl, close the lid and set the “Warm up” program for 1 hour. During this time, the dough should fit well and double in volume.

Then switch the appliance to the Bake program for the default time (1 hour on average). After the signal about the end of the program, turn the cake on the other side using the steamer rack and turn on the "Baking" program again for 15 minutes so that the cake is covered with a golden crust on the other side as well.

While the cake is baking, prepare the icing. To do this, place 2 chicken proteins in a separate bowl, add a pinch of salt and beat them with a mixer into a stable foam.

In a saucepan, boil the sugar and water syrup. Pour the hot syrup in a thin stream over the whipped egg whites, continuing to stir them with a mixer. Add a spoonful of fresh lemon juice at the end. You should have a thick, shiny fudge.
