Lard pâté for the winter

Preparing bacon pâté for the winter is very simple and quick. This is a great alternative to salted bacon, more interesting and tender. You can always spread it on crispy toast and a delicious appetizer is ready.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Cut the skin off the bacon, wash the herbs and chili peppers, peel the garlic.
step 2 out of 5
Peel the walnuts, chop and fry them in a preheated pan. Then fry the poppy seeds as well.
step 3 out of 5
Grind the bacon, chili peppers, herbs, garlic, nuts and poppy seeds using a meat grinder.
step 4 out of 5
Mix the resulting mass well again, add salt to taste if necessary.
step 5 out of 5
Transfer the mass to a sterilized jar, roll up the lid and store in the refrigerator. In winter, it is very pleasant to open a fragrant bacon pate and spread on toast or bread.

Bon Appetit!
