A traditional appetizer of Ukrainian cuisine, it is prepared from salted bacon, a large amount of garlic and herbs. Pâté can be prepared in large quantities, spread on bread at any time and served as a snack on the table.

Peel the fat from excess salt and spices, cut off the skin.

Cut the bacon into small cubes and transfer to a blender bowl.
You can also use a meat grinder.

Grind the fat until smooth.

Wash greens, dry and chop finely. Peel the garlic and pass through a press. Add herbs and garlic to chopped bacon, stir.

Add salt, pepper and paprika to the pate and stir.

Transfer the pate to a jar, close the lid and refrigerate to cool and freeze the mass. It is recommended to store the pate in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
