Carbonara pasta with bacon in a creamy sauce

Pasta Carbonara is a traditional Italian dish. Today I propose to use a wonderful recipe and cook pasta with bacon in a creamy sauce. The dish turns out to be hearty and very tasty, an excellent option for a family lunch, as well as for a festive feast or a romantic dinner. The cooking process is quite simple and quick.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Cut the bacon into thin slices. Peel the garlic and chop with a knife or pass through a press. Heat the pan well over the fire, add a little olive oil and add the prepared ingredients, stirring occasionally, fry for a few minutes.
step 2 out of 4
Combine wheat flour and cream of any fat content in a small bowl. Stir with a whisk until smooth so that there are no lumps. Pour the resulting mass into the pan. Season with salt, black pepper and dried basil to taste. Bring the sauce to a boil, stirring occasionally.
step 3 out of 4
Pour cold water into a deep saucepan, put on fire and bring to a boil, add salt, put the amount of pasta indicated in the recipe. Bring to a boil and cook until al dente. Pasta can be used in any shape you like.
step 4 out of 4
Pour the boiled pasta through a colander or sieve. Let the excess liquid drain, then transfer the pasta to the sauce pan and stir well. Warm up literally a minute. Serve Pasta Carbonara with bacon in a creamy sauce in portions, garnished with parsley leaves or other herbs.

Enjoy an incredibly mouth-watering meal!
