Chicken and Bacon Carbonara Pasta

With all my heart I want to share an unusually delicious recipe for Carbonara pasta with chicken and bacon. A hot, hearty dish turns out to be juicy and appetizing, a great option for a festive lunch or a romantic dinner.

Pour cold water into a deep saucepan, put on fire and bring to a boil, salt, add the required amount of spaghetti. Cook until al dente for the time indicated on the pasta package.

Cut the bacon into thin slices. You can use any bacon - raw, uncooked or smoked-boiled. Heat the pan well over moderate heat, add the chopped bacon and, stirring constantly, lightly fry.

Wash the chicken breast thoroughly, then place in a saucepan, pour cold water, salt, put on medium heat, bring to a boil, remove the foam, reduce heat and cook the chicken covered for about 20 minutes.

Peel the onions, rinse and chop finely with a knife.

Allow the cooked chicken to cool slightly and then cut into medium-sized pieces.

Grate the Parmesan cheese on a fine grater. Any hard cheese can be used instead of Parmesan.

Peel the garlic and chop with a knife. Add to skillet with sautéed bacon. Add butter, chopped onions and chicken. Season with salt and pepper, add dried basil and parsley. Stir well and cook for a few minutes.

Put the chicken yolks in a small container, mix well, pour in the required amount of cream of any fat content. Stir until smooth. Strain the boiled spaghetti through a colander or sieve, send to the pan. Pour in the cooked creamy sauce.
