Liver cake without eggs

Snack cake can be made from any liver. The cake is served chilled. Usually liver cake pancakes are made with chicken eggs, but if the house runs out of eggs, liver dough can be tied with wheat flour. This is the recipe I propose to cook.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Wash the beef liver thoroughly under running water, pat dry with paper towels. Using a sharp knife, trim off the veins and film. Grind the liver with a meat grinder or blender.
step 2 out of 10
Transfer the chopped liver to a deep bowl, add wheat flour, salt and pepper. Mix the resulting dough thoroughly.
step 3 out of 10
Heat the skillet well over medium heat. Pour in a small amount of vegetable oil and, using a ladle, pour the dough into the center of the pan and spread over the entire surface. Fry until the top of the liver pancake changes color.
step 4 out of 10
Use a spatula to turn the pancake over to the other side and fry for a couple more minutes. Transfer the finished pancake to a plate. Thus, fry all the liver pancakes until the dough is finished.
step 5 out of 10
Wash the carrots well and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater. Peel the onions and chop with a knife.
step 6 out of 10
Heat a deep frying pan over medium heat, add a little vegetable oil and lay out the vegetables, stirring constantly, fry until soft, salt. Stir well again and remove from heat.
step 7 out of 10
Collect the liver cake. Put a tablespoon of mayonnaise in the center of the dish on which you will collect the snack cake and distribute it evenly. Spread out the liver pancake, add a tablespoon of fried vegetables and brush with mayonnaise.
step 8 out of 10
So collect the whole cake, alternating between the liver pancakes, the filling, and the mayonnaise. The last layer should be mayonnaise. Spread it liberally over the top and sides of the liver cake.
step 9 out of 10
Wash the dill greens thoroughly and shake off excess moisture. Use a sharp knife to chop the greens and decorate the top and sides of the snack cake with it.
step 10 out of 10
Liver cake can be served directly on the table, or you can chill it in the refrigerator so that it is well saturated.

Bon Appetit!
