Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We wash the liver well under water, remove the partitions and cut into small pieces. Then we twist it in a meat grinder or grind it on a combine to make a liquid minced meat. Add eggs, milk, salt and pepper to the minced meat and sift the flour. Mix everything well until smooth.
step 2 out of 6
Add vegetable oil to a well-heated frying pan and pour the resulting dough with a ladle. The thickness of the pancake should be no more than 0.5 cm, and you choose the diameter of the cake yourself. Pancakes of this diameter and bake. Fry the pancake on each side for a few minutes and remove it on a plate.
step 3 out of 6
Peel the onion, rinse and cut into thin half rings. Peel the carrots, rinse and rub on a coarse grater.
step 4 out of 6
Add vegetable oil to a preheated pan and put onions and carrots. Saute vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
step 5 out of 6
Next, we start assembling the cake: put the liver pancake, grease it with a thin layer of mayonnaise, then lay out some of the sautéed vegetables, level the whole pancake around the diameter and cover with the next pancake. So we continue to alternate liver pancakes, mayonnaise and vegetables. To make the cake easier to cut, you can fold two small cakes.
step 6 out of 6
Sprinkle the finished cake with finely chopped herbs and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to soak it. Ready liver cake is ready for tasting, bon appetit!
