Liver cake in a slow cooker

Liver cake in a slow cooker turns out to be very tender and similar in texture to a soufflé. You can use this recipe as a classic by adding various fillings to the cake. You can cook a cake from any liver: pork, beef or chicken. Decorate the finished dish beautifully with herbs, vegetables, olives - and it will be worthy of a festive table.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Wash the liver and remove the bile ducts (thaw frozen beforehand). Then cut it into medium pieces. Peel the onions and cut them into pieces as well. Grind pieces of liver together with onions in a meat grinder or in a blender bowl into a homogeneous mass. Then add to it the amount of eggs, cream, flour and baking powder indicated in the recipe.
step 2 out of 7
Sprinkle the liver mass to your liking with salt and pepper and stir well. The dough should be of a liquid consistency.
step 3 out of 7
Spread the bowl of the appliance with a small amount of vegetable oil and pour the prepared liver dough into it. Set the Baking program on the multicooker for 50 minutes.
step 4 out of 7
After this time, leave the cake in a slow cooker for 20 minutes to cool slightly, and then gently transfer it from the bowl to a flat plate and leave to cool completely.
step 5 out of 7
Cut the cooled cake into 3 pieces with a sharp knife. If the crust is crumbling, then cut it in half and then cut each half into 3 transverse pieces.
step 6 out of 7
In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise sauce with the garlic chopped on a garlic and spread over all the cakes.
step 7 out of 7
While the cake is cooling, peel the onion and carrots, chop them in any way. Fry these vegetables in a slow cooker on the "Fry" program until lightly browned and season with salt and pepper to your liking. Cool the fried vegetables a little. Assemble the cake by placing fried onions and carrots between the layers. Spread the top crust with sauce and decorate to your liking. Leave the cake for 2 hours to soak the cakes and then serve.

Bon Appetit!
