Such a pie is a lifesaver in situations when guests are already on the doorstep, and there is nothing for tea. Quickly knead the dough in milk, put it in a mold, distribute the strawberries on top and send to the oven. After forty minutes, you can brew tea and invite everyone to the table. Do not forget to sprinkle the surface of the cake with powdered sugar before serving - this will refresh the look of the product and add an appropriate note of sweetness.

Melt the butter until it is liquid. Mix with sugar.

Pour in milk, mix. Add flour and semolina, mix. Pour in baking powder last, mix.

Grease the cake pan with butter. It is very convenient to use a split form. If the mold is silicone, no lubrication is required. Pour the dough into the prepared mold, align over the entire area. We wash the strawberries, dry them, free them from sepals. If the berries are frozen, then first defrost them and drain off the excess juice that has been released. Spread the prepared berries evenly on the surface of the dough and press lightly.

We put the cake pan in an oven preheated to 200 degrees, bake for twenty minutes. Then we lower the temperature to 190 degrees and bake the cake for another twenty minutes.
