Pie with cottage cheese and strawberries in a slow cooker

In the multicooker, you can cook various types of pastries, including open cakes. In this recipe, we prepare a pie with curd filling and strawberries. We will make the base from shortcrust pastry; for the filling we will mix cottage cheese, eggs and sugar. We bake the blank of dough and curd filling in the “Baking” mode, and after that we put the strawberries on the surface. With this sequence, the cake bakes well, and the berries remain juicy and do not lose their shape.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 11
We take out the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it softens well. Cut it into small pieces and place in a bowl.
step 2 out of 11
We immediately add all the other ingredients to the butter: break the egg, pour in cold water, add granulated sugar, baking powder and sifted flour.
step 3 out of 11
Knead the dough with our hands - it turns out to be dense, pliable, well-kept in shape.
step 4 out of 11
Let's move on to preparing the curd filling. Put cottage cheese in a blender bowl, break an egg and add granulated sugar. It is advisable to use cottage cheese soft and fat, so the filling will turn out to be richer in taste and delicate in consistency. Grind all the ingredients of the filling until a homogeneous thick mass is obtained.
step 5 out of 11
Cut a circle out of a sheet of parchment to fit the bottom of the multicooker bowl. Lubricate it with a small amount of vegetable oil. Form a cake from the dough and place it on a greased parchment circle.
step 6 out of 11
Roll out the dough into a circle, the diameter of which should be larger than the size of the parchment.
step 7 out of 11
We put the rolled dough into the bowl with the parchment down. With our hands we correct and carefully place the dough sides along the edges of the bowl.
step 8 out of 11
Put the curd filling on the dough, level its surface. We place the bowl in the multicooker, close the lid and select the “Baking” mode for one hour. We press "Start".
step 9 out of 11
After the program time is over, open the lid of the multicooker, but we don't get the cake. We let him stand in this position for twenty to thirty minutes. During this time, the filling will stabilize and the dough will cool slightly. After that, we take out the cake from the bowl by turning it over onto the steamer rack. Place the pie on a serving platter.
step 10 out of 11
Wash the strawberries, cut off the sepals, dry the berries well on a towel from excess moisture. Cut the prepared berries into halves. Place the strawberry jam in a cooking syringe or small plastic bag and cut off the corner. If the jam is not uniform, then we punch it in front of this blender. Lay out strawberries on the surface of the cake. On them from the bag we draw a grid of strawberry jam, squeezing it out of the culinary syringe.
step 11 out of 11
Cut the decorated pie into portions and serve.
Bon Appetit!
