Puff pastry pie with cottage cheese and raspberries

Ready-made puff pastry is just a lifesaver for those who love homemade baked goods but don't like to spend a lot of time cooking. It is enough to place any filling in this semi-finished product, grease the surface with an egg and send it to the oven. The rosy glossy cake will not be long in coming! This dough allows you to cut out various decorations and give the baked goods any shape. Let's prepare a version with raspberries and cottage cheese in the form of a wicker cake.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Immediately prepare the curd filling: grind the curd with granulated sugar and lemon juice.
step 2 out of 6
Roll out the defrosted puff pastry on a floured surface into a rectangular layer three to four millimeters thick. The approximate size of the reservoir is thirty by forty centimeters.
step 3 out of 6
Let's prepare the slicing for the future "weaving". We make cuts along the edges of the dough, forming strips one and a half centimeters thick, as in the photo.
step 4 out of 6
Put the curd filling in the middle of the layer. We distribute raspberry jam on it. Then add the raspberries.
step 5 out of 6
Close the filling with cut strips, laying them on top of each other according to the principle of weaving braids. Tuck the edges. Shake the egg and grease the surface of the cake with the resulting mass.
step 6 out of 6
Transfer the formed cake to a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 190 degrees. Place the pie in the oven and bake the product for about twenty to twenty five minutes. The cake will be covered with a bright golden crust. We take the finished product out of the oven, cool completely, cut into portions and serve.
Bon Appetit!
