Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Sift flour into a bowl for kneading the dough. Add sugar and a pinch of salt to it. Then add egg yolk and diced butter to the flour. First, with a spoon, and then with your hands, grind these ingredients into coarse crumbs. Mix warm kefir with baking soda and pour it over the dough crumb. Knead the dough with your hands until smooth and elastic.
step 2 out of 7
Then place the dough in a greased baking dish, forming a "basket" with sides. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
step 3 out of 7
During this time, prepare the pie filling. Put cottage cheese, sour cream and soft cream cheese in a separate bowl. Top them with powdered sugar and vanillin to taste. Beat the eggs with a whisk and pour over the curd. Then mix this curd mass well with a whisk until smooth.
step 4 out of 7
Cherry berries, preferably pitted, in a separate bowl, mix with starch. It will coat the cherries with a thin shell and prevent the juice from flowing out during baking.
step 5 out of 7
Remove the dough form from the refrigerator. Lay the curd mass on top of the dough in an even layer so that it is below the edge of the dough.
step 6 out of 7
Put the starchy cherries on top of the curd, dipping them into the filling with a spoon.
step 7 out of 7
Bake the cottage cheese and cherry pie in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 40-50 minutes. Then remove the cake from the mold, cool slightly and serve.
Delicious and successful baking!
