A simple recipe for cottage cheese pie with cherries and strawberries. Delicate dough with a golden brown crust and inclusions of juicy sweet and sour berries is very tasty! We recommend serving such a cake completely cooled down so that the crumb texture becomes stable, crumbly and friable. For a good bake, it is very convenient to bake it in a muffin tin with a hole in the middle.

We prepare the berries. We wash the strawberries in cool water, remove the sepals, dry the berries well on a towel from excess moisture. Cut the strawberries into halves. I also wash the cherries, dry them, remove the seeds and drain off the excess juice.

To prepare the dough, put softened butter in a volumetric bowl, break the eggs, add fat cottage cheese, milk, add granulated sugar, vanillin and salt. Beat everything together with a mixer until smooth. Pour sifted flour with baking powder into the resulting mixture, mix. Pour the prepared berries to the resulting dough and mix gently.

Preheat the oven to a temperature of 190 degrees. Grease the baking dish with odorless vegetable oil. Alternatively, you can cover it with oiled parchment. If the mold is silicone, no lubrication is required. We spread the cooked dough with berries in a mold. We put the future pie on the middle level of an already hot oven and bake for approximately fifty to sixty minutes.

Baking times may vary slightly depending on the specific oven. We focus on the fact that by the end of baking, the cake should slightly increase in volume and brown well. We take the finished product out of the oven and let it cool slightly.
