Frozen Puff Raspberry Pie

We offer a recipe for a simple pie made from ready-made puff pastry with frozen raspberries. Before cooking, take the berries out of the freezer and defrost them. Drain the excess juice so as not to overload the dough with moisture. Before serving, do not forget to sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar - it will not only decorate, but also add appropriate notes of sweetness.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Let the dough thaw at room temperature so that it regains its softness and plasticity. Sprinkle the working surface with flour. Divide the dough into two approximately equal parts. Lightly roll one part into the layer with a rolling pin - this will be the base of the pie. We shift the layer into a cake pan greased with vegetable oil.
step 2 out of 5
Defrost raspberries, drain the juice. Gently mix half of the specified amount of sugar with raspberries. Roll out the second part of the dough and cut into strips. We lay out the stripes along the perimeter of the base. Sprinkle the dough with half of the starch, then lay out the raspberries, level them around the entire perimeter of the base.
step 3 out of 5
Spread the remaining sugar and starch on top of the raspberries. We put the remaining strips of dough in the form of a lattice. Shake the egg with a whisk and grease the surface of the sides and grate.
step 4 out of 5
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees. We put the cake tin on the middle level and bake for twenty to twenty-five minutes until a beautiful blush.
step 5 out of 5
We take the finished cake out of the oven, sprinkle it with powdered sugar through a strainer, let it cool slightly. Serve warm or cold.
Bon Appetit!
