Lavash pies with cabbage in the oven

It is with great pleasure that I want to share my favorite recipe for lazy pies. Oven-baked lavash pies with cabbage turn out to be incredibly tasty with crunchy dough and juicy filling. Anyone who loves various homemade cakes will be delighted with the mouth-watering pies.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 11
Peel the onions, rinse under water and finely chop with a knife. Place in a well-heated skillet, greased with a little vegetable oil, and fry until softened.
step 2 out of 11
Finely chop the white cabbage, put it on the fried onion, stirring constantly, fry until soft. Season with salt and mix well.
step 3 out of 11
Take a large leaf of Armenian yeast-free lavash.
step 4 out of 11
Cut the sheet into several identical rectangular pieces. I usually cut the sheet into 6-8 pieces, depending on the size of the pita bread.
step 5 out of 11
Place the filling on the edge of each piece of pita bread.
step 6 out of 11
Then fold the sides inward.
step 7 out of 11
Then form neat identical patties.
step 8 out of 11
Break the chicken egg into a deep bowl, add a little salt and beat until smooth.
step 9 out of 11
Put the pies on a baking sheet covered with a silicone mat, brush the surface with a beaten chicken egg. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 160 degrees and bake the pies for 20 minutes.
step 10 out of 11
Put the finished pies on a plate and cool slightly.
step 11 out of 11
Serve pita pies with cabbage.

Bon Appetit!
