It is with great pleasure that I want to share my favorite and incredibly delicious recipe for chicken pies made from pita bread in a pan. Such pies can be prepared as a hearty breakfast on a weekend and pleasantly surprise your beloved family.

Finely chop the white cabbage with a sharp knife. Heat a deep frying pan over moderate heat, add a small amount of vegetable oil, add chopped cabbage, salt and add a pinch of granulated sugar. Fry until appetizing golden brown, stirring occasionally. Then remove from heat and cool.

Meanwhile, rinse the chicken fillet well in running water, then place in a saucepan and boil in salted water over medium heat until tender. It will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Then cool the chicken and cut into cubes. Combine the filling in a common bowl, salt and mix well.

Divide the sheets of Armenian lavash into several identical rectangular parts. Put the prepared filling on the edge of each part of the pita bread and roll the pita bread into envelopes.

Heat a deep frying pan well over moderate heat, pour in a small amount of vegetable oil and lay out the prepared pies, fry until delicious crispy crust on both sides.
