Pilaf with beef in a multicooker Polaris

Let's cook pilaf in a slow cooker - this will reduce the time that the hostess needs to spend on cooking. You just need to take the time to fry the ingredients and pour in the water. Further, the cooking process no longer needs to be controlled, since the multicooker creates an ideal temperature inside the bowl so that the rice and meat are softly cooked and not burnt. The pilaf turns out to be rich and crumbly.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 11
Rinse the beef and dry it with a paper towel so that no moisture remains on the surface of the meat. Then cut the beef into small pieces across the grain.
step 2 out of 11
Peel the carrots, wash them, dry them and cut them with a knife into thin pieces. Peel the onions, wash, dry and cut into thin half rings.
step 3 out of 11
Place the rice in a colander and rinse well under running water until the grains acquire a translucent appearance.
step 4 out of 11
We turn on the multicooker in the "Frying" program, pour vegetable oil into the bowl in such an amount that it covers the bottom with a layer of one and a half centimeters. Put pieces of meat in the heated oil and fry it. The beef will juice out first. We continue to cook it and stir with a spatula - the moisture will evaporate and the pieces will begin to redden.
step 5 out of 11
Add chopped onions to the browned beef, stir and continue to fry until the onion becomes translucent and also begins to be covered with a golden crust.
step 6 out of 11
Next, pour the carrots into a bowl, mix, and fry everything together for another five to six minutes so that the carrots soften.
step 7 out of 11
Add half of the indicated amount of salt and seasoning for pilaf to the resulting frying. We mix. We wash the head of garlic, but do not divide it into separate cloves. We put it in the frying in the center of the bowl.
step 8 out of 11
Now put the prepared rice in the bowl. We align it on the surface in an even layer. Sprinkle with the rest of the salt and pilaf seasoning.
step 9 out of 11
Pour hot water into the bowl in the specified amount. We try to pour in water slowly so as not to disturb the rice layer.
step 10 out of 11
We close the lid of the multicooker, select the “Pilaf” mode for forty minutes and press “Start”.
step 11 out of 11
After the time of the set mode has expired, turn off the multicooker, let the pilaf stand under the lid for another five minutes. Then open the lid and lay out the pilaf on portioned plates. Serve hot. Pilaf is absolutely self-sufficient, but accompaniment in the form of greens and fresh vegetables will never be superfluous.

Bon Appetit!
