Pilaf with mushrooms in a slow cooker

The preparation of this pilaf is somewhat different from the traditional one, as it excludes the preparation of zirvak - spicy vegetable frying. We immediately put all the ingredients in the multicooker bowl: pieces of vegetables, mushrooms, rice, spices, salt and water. We close the lid of the device, select the program and go to rest. The miracle pilaf will be ready in an hour - the aroma of the finished dish cannot be confused with anything.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Pour the specified amount of vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. We choose the "Fry" program - not so much for the actual frying of products, but for heating the oil and the added ingredients.
step 2 out of 5
Wash the champignons, dry them and cut them into pieces. Pour the chopped mushrooms into a bowl.
step 3 out of 5
Peel the onions, rinse, dry and cut into small cubes. Pour into a bowl for mushrooms. The next step is bell pepper. We wash it, cut out the stalk and remove the seed content. Cut the pulp into squares and pour them into a bowl with champignons and onions. The next ingredient is tomato. Wash, dry, cut into large cubes. We put the tomato in the multicooker bowl, mix with the total mass. Peel the garlic and chop into pieces, pour into a bowl.
step 4 out of 5
We prepare the rice: put it in a colander and rinse it under running water until transparent. Put it on top of the chopped vegetables in a bowl, align. Pour in hot water so that it covers the rice by one and a half to two centimeters - approximately two or two and a half glasses of liquid will be needed. You can also use broth instead of water, it will be even tastier. Put salt and black pepper. We close the multicooker with a lid and turn on the "Pilaf" mode for one hour.
step 5 out of 5
After the time of the set program has elapsed, turn off the multicooker. And let the pilaf brew a little more with the lid closed - literally five to ten minutes. Put the finished pilaf on portioned plates and serve hot. The best accompaniment is a salad of fresh vegetables and herbs.
Bon Appetit!
